Saltire has worked with North Lanarkshire Council for more than two decades, and in recent years has become the go-to partner for building sustainable communities through the installation of a variety of renewable technologies.
Saltire’s experienced and expert Renewables Division is currently working on a four-year contract awarded by North Lanarkshire.

This long-term comprehensive renewables contract will see Saltire install air source heat pumps, solar panels (PV) and Tesla batteries in approximately 1000 houses across the region.

With a range of homes included in the contract, including sheltered housing complexes, the work must be tailored to the needs of each dwelling.

Each separate residence is individually assessed for its suitability for renewable technologies, and information regarding the efficiency and carbon saving for each technology installed is shared with the client.

North Lanarkshire Council and Saltire

Saltire Facilities Management was originally formed in 2000 following the privatisation of the DLO of North Lanarkshire Council. This included the transfer of a proportion of staff from NLC to Saltire.
