New contract for Saltire cements relationship with Trust Housing Association

Saltire Facilities Management cements it relationship with Trust Housing Association, a social landlord with which it already enjoys a strong working partnership, by being awarded a contract for boiler installations.

The contract, which is set to begin within just a few weeks, will see Saltire’s Gas Services Division complete boiler replacements in 100 properties owned by Trust Housing Association. The team will remove the existing boiler, and replace it with a brand new combi boiler, including timer and thermostat.

Residents in these homes, spread across Wishaw, Netherlee, Shotts, and Motherwell, will benefit from a more energy efficient home heating system, smaller heating bills, and a reduced carbon footprint.

This contract award also represents a strengthening relationship between Saltire and Trust Housing Association. The facilities management specialist already carries out boiler servicing and maintenance contracts for the social landlord, as well as ad hoc boiler replacement.

Saltire is the facilities management partner of choice for dozens of public sector organisations and social landlords across Scotland and North West England, and currently supports more than 100,000 homes across the country. With specialist Gas, Electrical, and Renewables Divisions, supported by a network of all-trades staff and customer service representatives, Saltire’s facilities management offering is broad, and its reputation for quality delivery and customer service is second to none.

Speaking of the contract award from Trust Housing Association, Service Delivery Director Natalie Milne commented, “Everyone at Saltire works incredibly hard to deliver for our customers, and that makes winning more contracts from existing customers especially rewarding.

Every measure taken to improve the carbon footprint of a property contributes to the country’s climate change programme, and installation of energy efficient boilers and home thermostats in homes across Scotland is making a difference.  We’re delighted to be strengthening our relationship with Trust Housing Association, and look forward to working alongside them for many years to come.”
